Rosehill Kindergarten
(Opening comments from Ruislip, Northwood & Eastcote Local History Society)
ROSEHALL KINDERGARTEN: 115 West End Road,
Ruislip
This small kindergarten began about 1948. It was run by Mrs. Dyke, assisted by
Mrs. Wright. Initially, the kindergarten took in only six young children, but
later the premises were extended and up to 15 were catered for. The children
attended mornings only.
Rosehall Kindergarten continued for over 20 years, and finally closed in about
1969.
